The location was magnificent - so close to main restaurant, the centre, and road network. Visited Westgate Shopping Centre, one of the tourist spots, located relatively close to the hotel. - the breakfast was gorgeous and superb. - the main bar was a plus.

It was a fabulous place, had very welcoming staff in good customer service. I thoroughly enjoyed the historic-style building, unique and practical room with a king size bed. The location in a beautiful area was great and there were a small supermarket and supermarkets nearby.

We appreciated our stay at Hotel Cromwell Stevenage in Stevenage. the location was marvelous, with pubs and brasseries nearby. There was a small supermarket and a supermarket right next door. Our superior king room had tea, unlocked windows, and air conditioning.

It was a very expensive hotel, which on paper sounded wonderful, but in real it did not live up to the expensive price..... I can't believe Oliver Cromwell would be proud to have his name to this hotel!
The kettles need a good clean as they are furred up with limescale, which came off in my cup of tea. On telling reception they did not do anything about it.On the day of departure the stff did not ask whether we had enjoyed our stay... Which I find to be very rude!

Upon arrival, a beautifully spacious superior room with a comfortable king-sized bed was already prepared for us.

The fact that it was centrally located and easily within reach of shops etc. The room was clean and comfortable and on the first floor, which, being disabled, was convenient for me.
The ventilation and temperature control was not good in the room, it was hot and dry. There is a step down into the bathroom which is quite deep, and therefore a hazard. Also, the lounge has no seating, to wait for a taxi, I had ti wait by the front door.
